Uniform Bar Exam Tutoring

The Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) has been adopted in 30 states, with more to follow, and offers portability of scores across those states. New York has been using the Uniform Bar Exam since July 2016, with a passing score of 266. While the UBE is new to New York, it has been in use in other states since 2011.

I am happy to offer tutoring for the UBE, in addition to my services for state-based bar exams. While the UBE is a standardized bar exam, passing scores vary by state, and currently range from 260 - 280. Therefore a passing score in one jurisdiction is not necessarily a passing score elsewhere. I will provide you with the proper techniques to achieve a passing score in your jurisdiction.

The UBE is composed of the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE), the Multistate Essay Examination (MEE), and Multistate Performance Test (MPT). The following subjects are tested:

  • Contracts (including Sales - UCC Article 2)
  • Real Property
  • Federal Civil Procedure
  • Criminal Law / Criminal Procedure
  • Torts
  • Constitutional Law
  • Evidence
  • Business Associations (Corporations and Agency/Partnership)
  • Secured Transactions (UCC Article 9)
  • Domestic Relations
  • Conflict of Laws
  • Wills, Trusts and Estates
